Board of Directors Approves New Policy at July Board Meeting

At the July STPGA Board Meeting, the Board of Directors approved this new policy becoming effective immediately. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the STPGA staff. The first event that this will affect is the Western Chapter Meeting and Pro-Pro at UT Golf Club on Monday, November 26.

Education & Tournament Events

When education and/or meeting precedes the playing of any STPGA Sponsored Tournament, all members and associates registered must attend the education and/or meeting to be eligible to play in the Sponsored Tournament. A sign in sheet will be provided to verify attendance. A person will be considered not in attendance if they are not present 15 min after the start of the education and/or meeting.

1st offense – Player will be allowed to play in the tournament in addition to a $100 fine.

2nd offense – Player will not be allowed to play in the tournament, forfeiture of the entry fee to the tournament, and forfeiture of eligibility to play or compete in STPGA Sponsored and STPGA Sanctioned Tournaments for a period of three months from the date of the infraction.
