In 1994 the Southern Texas PGA Foundation was formed as a 501 (c) (3) organization.
The Southern Texas PGA Foundation will introduce and provide youth in south Texas broad opportunities to experience the game of golf, develop their talent as players and themselves as individuals and promote scholarship benefits to as many qualified candidates as possible. The STPGA Foundation will uphold the high degree of professionalism necessary to motivate young men and women to strive for personal integrity, honor and ideals.
We take pride in helping build champions both on and off the golf course through our junior golf and scholarship programs. Southern Texas PGA Junior Golf (www.stpgajuniorgolf.com) serves over 3,400 south Texas families each year through five different programs:

Dick Harmon Participation Grants make it possible for juniors with financial need to compete. Click here for more information on these grants.
The Southern Texas PGA Foundation has a robust and significant college scholarship program. These scholarships are awarded to deserving youth based on academic achievement, standardized test scores, financial need, participation in junior golf, and involvement in the community. Including the 2016 Scholarships, the STPGA Foundation has awarded over 300 college scholarships valued at over $781,000 just since 1999.
Through our Foundation programs and events, we strive to continue to provide opportunities for more youth in our area with each season. For more information on how to get involved with the Southern Texas PGA Foundation, contact Kelly Gilley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 832-442-2410.
