2012 STPGA Senior Series
General Information
The 2012 STPGA Senior Series is here and we hope you are as excited as we are for another great year of golf!
This series offers senior golfers a competitive atmosphere, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and public goodwill to promote the life long game of golf. The events are designed as individual stroke play for three age divisions; the Senior Division age 50-57, Super Senior Division 58-65, and the Veteran Division 66 and older. We would like to give a special thank you to the presenting sponsor Bridgestone Golf for being apart of the STPGA Senior Series for the last five years! Hope to see you on the course! To be eligible for the STPGA Senior Series, participants must turn 50 by September 10, 2012.

$125 membership fee is required. STPGA Members and Apprentices are automatically registered and the membership fee is waived.

$165 entry fee for 36 hole, stroke play tournament at premier facilities in the Southern Texas Section. Entry includes green, cart and range fees.

Professionals will be awarded cash; amateurs will be awarded gift certificates.
New for 2012
- The tournament deadline for every event will be the Wednesday prior at 11:59 PM. The early entry fee will be $165 and will be in place from the time the event opens for registration until the Wednesday deadline, or until the event is full. After the Wednesday deadline, the late entry fee will be $190. Once pairings have been published, players can be added to incomplete pairings (twosomes).
- A Skins Game will be held for each round and a nominal entry fee will be collected from each player that wants to participate before teeing off. If at the end of a round all skins are tied, the skins will be awarded to those holes with the least amount of ties.
- For select events in 2012, tee time starts will be implemented. The April 30 – May 1 event at Horseshoe Bay Resort will be the first event of the season that differs from our standard afternoon/morning shotgun start.
