The Southern Texas PGA will conduct a Pre-Qualifying tournament for the PGA Champions Tour’s 2010 Administaff Small Business Classic on the Tradition Course at Cypresswood Golf Club in Spring on Oct. 13.
The Pre-Qualifier is open to all male amateurs and professionals ages 50 and above as of Oct.
14, 2010. The 18-hole stroke play event will produce a maximum of six spots in the Administaff Small Business Classic Event Qualifier, which will be held on the Player Course at The Woodlands Country Club on Oct. 18, 2010.
A maximum of four golfers from the Event Qualifier (18 holes, stroke play) will advance into the field of the 2010 Administaff Small Business Classic, which will take place Oct. 22-24 on the Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club.
The entry deadline for the Pre-Qualifier is 5 p.m. (local time) on Oct. 11, 2010. Class A members of the PGA of America will pay $150 to enter the Pre-Qualifier; non-members will pay $200 (an additional $20 insurance fee is required from players who are not members of the PGA of America). Qualifiers advancing from the Pre-Qualifier to the Open Qualifier and from the Open Qualifier into the Administaff Small Business Classic will pay no additional entry fees.
