The Southern Texas Section of the PGA of America is comprised of over 800 golf professionals representing over 200 facilities in Southern Texas. Our geographic area includes Beaumont, Houston, Bryan-College Station, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. The purpose of our organization is to promote enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf, and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry. The PGA will accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of its professionals and the opportunities for amateurs, employers, manufacturers and the general public. In so doing, the PGA will elevate the standards of the professional golfers vocation, enhance the economic well-being of the individual member, stimulate interest in the game of golf, and promote the overall vitality of the game.

In addition to providing services to golf professionals and to the golf industry, the Southern Texas Section of the PGA offers an extensive tournament program within which professionals, amateurs and junior golfers can compete.

The Southern Texas PGA office is located at Cypresswood Golf Club in Spring.
