Elections at the 2019 STPGA Annual Meeting

Every two years, the STPGA elects a new Board of Directors to lead the organization. The following outlines open positions and general information about the election. If you are interested in running for a position and have any questions, please contact Thomas Hutton at 832-442-2404. 
 
All PGA Members in good standing are able to run for an elected position. If you would like to declare your candidacy for any of the open positions, prior to the Annual Meeting, please email a letter announcing your candidacy to Thomas Hutton at thutton@pgahq.com. Nominations may still happen on the floor during the meeting on
Monday, February 18 at Horseshoe Bay. Therefore, more people may decide to run than listed below.  Once someone sends in a letter declaring their candidacy, this website will be updated.   
 
President (1 Position) – Doug DeSive, PGA Head Professional, Corpus Christi Country Club has been nominated
 
Vice President (1 Position) – James Brown, PGA Head Professional, Royal Oaks Country Club has been nominated

*** Please Note that during the meeting additional individuals may be nominated that have not turned in a letter.  Those individuals will still be allowed to run if they meet the criteria of being a PGA Member in good standing.  

Communication to the Membership – On January 31 and February 14, the STPGA will send an email to the membership including all individuals that have announced their candidacy for a position with the Board of Directors as well as their letter.
