Mizzen+Main Announced as the Official Apparel Partner of the 42nd Texas Joe Black Cup Matches
DALLAS, Texas - The Northern Texas and Southern Texas PGA are excited to announce Mizzen+Main as the official apparel partner of the 42nd Texas Joe Black Cup Matches.
The Matches will be held at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas, from Monday, November 14 through Wednesday, November 16.

The Texas Joe Black Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Northern Texas PGA and the Southern Texas PGA Sections. The event was started in 1981 to honor Joe Black, a Snyder, Texas, native who was completing his first year as President of The PGA of America that year.

The Ryder Cup-style format features 12 golf professionals from each Section competing in Four-Ball and Foursome Matches on the first day followed by Singles Matches on the final day.
The overall Matches record is currently 19-20-2 with the Southern Texas PGA having the advantage.

The Section’s geographical area includes the metro areas of Austin, Beaumont, Bryan-College Station, Corpus Christi, Houston, Rio Grande Valley, and San Antonio.
The STPGA is located in Spring, TX and employs 12 full-time employees and over 100 part-time employees. The organization focuses on areas that enhance our Members’ abilities to be world-class Professionals.
