Favorite Course you’ve been to:
Two Courses I could play the rest of my life and never get bored...Carlton Woods Fazio and Harbour Town in Hilton Head. Most unique experiences with the wow factor include Whispering Pines, Kinloch Golf Club, Whistling Straits, and Ridgewood Country Club.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you:
Growing up my family was a foster family to over 20 children. My wife and I will consider doing the same down the road. Teaches you so much and shows how grateful we need to be.
Were you involved in golf before working with the STPGA: All thing golf in my life. Started playing when I was 5.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off: Smoothie King with the kids, Chipotle for lunch, golf with Speith, steak dinner, and walk around the neighborhood!
What would you sing at karaoke night: Not a fan of karaoke....seems odd being a broadway guy, but just not my scene.
What was your first job: Soccer Referee - I learned early how to handle parents and ensure they remember it's about providing the kids with a fun and safe atmosphere. I did this for 10+ years.
What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from Texas: Italy
What’s your favorite golf memory: Watching Phil win his first green jacket with my dad. Mom was out of town so we watched the entire round and went nuts when he won! I am a lefty so continue to be a big Phil fan!
What did you want to be when you were little:
Professional golfer
What is your greatest accomplishment/what are you most proud of: Being a husband and father on a personal level. On a career level being both the ED for Iowa PGA (even though it was only 7 months) and Southern Texas PGA
Who is your favorite PGA TOUR Player? Phil Mickelson, Jordan Speith, and Justin Thomas
What is your favorite sport outside of golf: I like all sports, but one small item behind the scenes.....USA Soccer, I am all about it. Love watching them play.
